LHC suspends levy on LPG
The Lahore High Court has suspended the notification of imposition levy on LPG.
LAHORE (Dunya News): LHC judge Justice Aysha A Malik heard a case regarding imposition of levy on LPG.
The petitioner informed the court that the price of gas had gone up after the imposition of levy and requested the court to order the OGRA to withdraw the notification as the Lahore High Court had barred the Oil and Gas Regulation Authority and Federal Government from receiving the petroleum levy imposed on locally produced LPG.
The court suspended the order and directed the authorities to submit their reply until 28 February.
