Taliban leader Qari Shahid arrested from Lower Dir

The security forces arrested an important Taliban leader Qari Shahid from Lower Dir. Qari Shahid had been using FM radio to threaten the people of the area. Twelve more militants have been presented before media. Heavy ammunition, explosive material and arms were recovered from their possession. Arms and weapons were displayed in Temergirah. The arms include 11 hand grenades, one rocket launcher, 6 rifles, 8 machine guns and communication system.
