Summary Minister says there is no objection to talks with Taliban within the domain of Constitution.
LALAMUSA: Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting Qamar Zaman Kaira has said that there is no objection to hold talks with Taliban within the domain of the Constitution.
He expressed these views while talking to media persons on Monday.
Talking about Kashmir issue, he said that peace in South Asia region could only be established after the resolution of the Kashmir issue. Pakistan has always supported the Kashmir cause and took practical steps for the resolution of the issue.
Pakistan would continue its support to the Kashmiris on political and diplomatic levels, he said.
The minister said all political forces in the country have same policy on Kashmir and termed the ‘Kashmir Policy’ basically a ‘Pakistan Policy’.
Commenting on the sit-in led by the PML-N, Kaira said that it was not an adequate act done by the PML-N. The Minister said stage a sit-in is not is not ideal for those sitting in the Parliament.
