Ban on third time premiership should be revoked: Aitzaz Ahsan

Former President of Supreme Court Bar Association (SCBA) Aitzaz Ahsan said that inactive cases have been reopened because the NRO has become ineffective. He said that restriction of 3rd time premiership should be eliminated. Talking to media in Lahore, Aitzaz said that despite NROs ineffectiveness, the courts can not call the president under Article 248. He said that implementation of Charter of Democracy could solve many prevailing problems. He said the court passes the verdicts; but, no fault should be found with the courts, if the executive avoid the implementation on them. He said that ban on becoming the premier for 3rd term should be lifted.
