Non-bailable arrest warrant for Raja Pervaiz Ashraf

A court in Rawalpindi issued a non-bailable arrest warrant for Federal Minister for Water and Power Raja Pervaiz Ashraf in high court manhandling case, Dunya News reported on Saturday. The minister is charged since December 23, 1998 with manhandling a government witness inside court premises when a corruption reference was being heard against Asif Ali Zardari. Several members including Raja Pervaiz Ashraf, Naheed Khan are included in the case. Bail of Raja Pervaiz Ashraf was cancled due to his non-availability; however, Naheed Khan got the bail again. Civil Judge Rai Afzal Kharal directed to produce Raja Pervaiz Ashraf in the court on November 21.
