The results of a three-hour meeting between PPP and MQM leadership have started to come. Sindh Chief Minister Qaim Ali Shah has issued instructions to restore Auqaf Departments officials associated with MQM. A committee of two federal ministers have also been formed to look into matter of local bodies. Syed Sattar Ahmad is also included in this committee. Four MQM ministers who are without any departments are likely to get some important ministry including ministry of interior. Change in MQM, PPP statementsAfter the talks between MQM and PPP, MQM statements about president have also undergone a change. MQM will not demand presidents resignation now. A committee has also been formed to look into MQM demands. MQM parliamentarians had called on President Zardari in Islamabad on Friday and it was agreed that working relationship would be made better between the two parties. MQM-PPP delegation held a long meeting in Dubai after which Interior Minister Rehman Malik had told that there were no differences between the two parties. MQM reservations removed: Senator Sheikh Talking to Dunya News PPP Senator Islam-ud-Din Sheikh said that MQM had some reservations about local bodies which would be removed. He said MQM was PPPs ally from the very first day. On a question about MQMs reservations on NRO, Sheikh said that almost all the issues were settled in Dubai talks.
