Political activities have geared up in the President House. ANP delegation called on President Asif Ali Zardari after Prime Minister Yousaf Raza Gilani and Punjab Governor Salmaan Taseer. President Zardari said that infighting between political forces would motivate non-democratic forces to benefit from the situation. A 17-member delegation of ANP also met with President in president house. President on the occasion maintained that differences between allies could surface but it didnt mean they couldnt go along together. President has also directed government to abolish 17th amendment, 58-2 B and other disputed clauses after which he will address parliament. Earlier, PM and President discussed countrys political situation, operation in South Waziristan and steps being take to restore IDPs. PM told President that a package about Balochistan would be announced soon. Governor Taseer discussed security arrangements for education institutions in his meeting with President.
