A government official and his driver got injured in terrorists firing in I-8 Four Sector Islamabad on Friday, reported Dunya News. Police said that government official was going to his office when terrorists riding on motorcycle opened fire on his vehicle. Two bullets hit in officials chest and one in leg. Another bullet passed touching his head. Despite being injured in the incident, driver drove the vehicle to a safe location. Assailants fled the scene while injured have been shifted to PIMS Hospital Islamabad. Police and law enforcing forces have surrounded the area.
