Summary At least four more people were shot dead in firing incidents in different parts of Karachi.
According to details, a 30-year-old man was shot dead by some unidentified persons in Quetta Town near Sohrab Goth while a man was killed near Samama Shopping Centre in Kulistan Jauhar area. The identity of the deceased is not yet known.
Some unidentified persons opened fire and in Sector 11-J in New Karachi, killing 24-year-old Khalid and critically injuring 2-year-old Inshal. The minore boy was rushed to hospital where he died of his wounds. According the police Khalid was an activist of Sunni Tehreek.
The chief of Sunni Tehreek, Sarwat Ijaz Qadri has strongly condemned the incident and said that two activists of Sunni Tehreek were killed in target killing incident in two days. He said that his party has convened an emergency meeting today to discuss the situation.
Meanwhile, former president of Electronic Market Association, Muhammad Irfan, who was wounded in firing incident three days ago died in a private hospital. The Electronic Market Association and Sindh Tajir Ittehad have appealed to trader community in the city to kepp their businesses shut to protest the killing of their colleague.
