Summary Chaudhry Rasheed Ahmed has been appointed as new Pakistan Electronic Media Regulatory Authority.
ISLAMABAD: President approved the appointment of Ch. Rasheed Ahmed upon the advice of the Prime Minister on Saturday.
Recently Ch. Rasheed Ahmed Federal Information Secretary was promoted to grade 22 in the Information Group.
Earlier, Dr Abdul Jabbar was serving as the acting Chairman PEMRA.
It is pertinent mention here that three names were under consideration including Ch. Rasheed Ahmed for the appointment of the Chairman PEMRA.
