Eid Milad-un-Nabi is being celebrated all over the country with religious fervour and respect on today (Friday).
Milad-un-Nabi processions would be taken out in all big and small cities of the country including towns and villages, in this connection government has announced Friday as a public holiday.
Milad-un-Nabi processions would be held in different cities including Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Sialkot, Karachi, Quetta, Lahore, Faisalabad, Peshawar, Mardan, Swabi, and building and mosque would be illuminated.
Strict Security measures would be taken on the routes and places of processions of Eid Milad-un-Nabi and all educational institutions and government offices would remain closed. Punjab government has directed to all District and Tehsil administration officers to take unprecedented security measures.
Large banner and gigantic billboards have been displayed across the cities to celebrate the birth of Holy Prophet Hazrat Muhammad (PBUH). Mosques, homes and plazas have been decorated with colorful lights and buntings.
