KARACHI: President Asif Ali Zardari has made telephonic contact with key political leaders of the country and said that the government would complete its tenure.
According to details, the President asked the Prime Minister Raja Parvez Ashraf to make contact with Pakistan Muslim League-N PML-N Chief Nawaz Sharif and other leaders after the Supreme Court ordered his arrest on Tuesday.
The President also said that the government cannot be overthrown through any undemocratic way.
Zardari has also talked with Chaudhry Shujaat and Asfandyar Wali on telephone.
The reports also said that Chaudhry Shujaat will go for negotiations with Tahirul Qadri on behalf of the government to end long march in this regard.
