Summary Pir of Golra Sharif and Jamaat-e-Ahle Sunnat have announced that they would not join Qadri’s march.
ISLAMABAD: Pir of Golra Sharif shrine has stated that they and their followers have nothing to do with the Long March of Tehreek-e-Minhajul Quran Chief Dr. Tahirul Qadri.
Addressing a news conference here on Saturday afternoon‚ Pir Jalaluddin and Pir Nizamuddin said Dr Tahirul Qadri s statements are self-contradictory.
Expressing their inability to support the long march they said we are religious people and don t want to get involved in politics. They said Dr. Qadri doesn t enjoy support of Ulema. They urged their followers to distance themselves from the march.
Meanwhile‚ Jamaat-e-Ahle Sunnat has also disassociated itself from the long march. Pir Riaz Hussain Shah has also announced to dissociate from the planned long march.
