Opposition strongly protested the NRO in the Parliament and staged walk out. Speaker National Assembly warned some parliamentary members including Khawaja Asif on using non-parliamentary words in the session. Prime Minister Yousaf Raza Gilani in his address said that the government is consulting the NRO with its allies and nothing would be done against the morals of democracy. The PM said that the present system would not be derailed and every step would be taken to convince the opposition in this regard. Leader of the opposition in the parliament Chaudhry Nisar Ali said that PML-N would not allow misuse of the Parliament. He said that NRO approval will give such a law, due to which corrupt people, criminals and human rights violators will get indemnity. He said that if anyone is not guilty he (she) should approach the courts. Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi on this occasion said that NRO is a mistake of past and if it is approved, cruels and innocents would become equal. FATA members walked out of the session due to unavailability of sugar in the country. Session of the National Assembly would be held tomorrow at 10.30 am. On the other hand, JUI leader Maulana Fazlur Rehman, while talking to media outside the National Assembly, said that his party would decide about the NRO in the Majlis-e-Shoora meeting tomorrow. He said that NRO is not more important than national security.
