Summary Case of Dalmia area blast has been registered at Shahar-e-Faisal police station.
KARACHI: Police registered a case under the ATC and explosive Acts on the complaint of Sub Inspector M Latif.
A man was killed, an alleged terrorist, when bomb ripped through a car parked at a busy petrol pump in Dalmia area in the early hours of Thursday.
The bomb was so powerful that glasses of nearby buildings and vehicles were broken. Police and rescue teams reached the sight of the blast and cordoned off the area. The explosion completely destroyed the vehicle.
Police have said that the registration and number plate of the vehicle is fake. According to a bomb disposal squad official, the explosive material was placed at the backside of vehicle.
