LAHORE: In a bid to address the demand of agitated young doctors, Punjab government has issued the notification to revise their service structure.
According to the notification, every doctor will be given a health allowance of Rs 1200 while doctors who have cleared FCPS will get Rs 5,000 on monthly basis. The salary of a PG trainee will be 10 percent lesser than that of a medical officer while the pays of house officers and PG trainers will increase with the pays of doctors.
The notification will be in effect from January 3.
Meanwhile, Young Doctors Association (YDA) said that only 10 percent of thier demands have been met.
