LAHORE: As part of disciplinary action, the provincial government has cancelled post-graduate training of 45 protesting doctors, Dunya News reported.
A letter has been forwarded to the University of Health Sciences in this regard.
On January 2, the agitated young doctors tortured MS and senior doctors of District Headquarter Hospital in Gujranwala.
With cancellation of post-graduate courses, the striking doctors have also lost their monthly stipends, the provincial health department stated.
Further, the department warned that the doctors who would now go on strike would be sacked from their jobs.
