Summary Four policemen were killed in a terror attack in Quetta on Saturday.
Quetta:-The mishap occurred when miscreants targeted a police van in the area of Ghous Abad, killing an ASI and two constables on the spot and hurting the driver.
Following the incident, rescue teams reached the site of occurrence, cordoned off the said area and commenced search operation.
So far as the bodies and injured driver was shifted to nearby hospital but could not survive.
Balochistan Chief Minister has announced Rs 2 million for the heirs to each victim.
Terrorism bid foiled
On the other hand, police foiled a terrorism bid in the area of Dera Murad Jamali and defused a 5 kg bomb.
QUETTA:- According to information, some unknown miscreants planted explosive material outside the government office with the intention to explode it.
Having information, the bomb disposal squad reached the spot and defused 5 kg explosive material.
However, police registered the case against unknown criminals and started thorough investigation.
