Summary Punjab Chief Minister says delay in general election would not be accepted at any cost.

 

LAHORE:-Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif has said that he is desirous for survival of the country and consolidation of democratic system, adding that delay in general election would not be accepted at any cost.

 

Markazi Jamiat Ahl e Hadees Senator Sajid Mir called on the chief minister and discussed current issues faced by the country in detail.

 

Both of them also expressed their satisfaction over time and transparency of general elections.


The chief minister reiterated that holding of general elections in time is the dire need of time, adding that change should be brought through ballot not by bullet.

 

He emphsised that socio-economic and socio-political situation in the country has become so disappointing and crucial that new mandate has become too necessary and inevitable.

 

He said that the politicians who used the authority and power for their personal interests would be put on trial very soon.

 

Jamiat’s secretary general Hafiz Abdulkarim was also present.
