Summary Seven people including five students were killed in a road accident near Mian Channun on Tuesday.
According to sources, the mishap occurred on National Highway near Mian Channun where a car was badly crushed by a heavy vehicle.
As a result, five students of Bahawalpur University who also hailed from youth parliament died on the spot.
Rescue teams reached the site of occurrence and shifted the victims to nearby hospital.
Besides, two men also fell prey to an accident which occurred in Muzaffergarh due to mist, killing two men and hurting 20 others.
According to police, the accident took place as an over speeding bus collided with a passenger coach coming from opposite side. As a result, two persons were killed on the spot while more than 20 sustained injuries.
Seven injured persons were shifted to Nishtar Hospital Multan as their condition is reportedly severe.
