Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif says that PML-N has informed President Asif Ali Zardari about its stance on 17th amendment, Charter of Democracy (CoD) and other constitutional issues, and now the ball is in his court, reported Dunya News. Inaugurating the sixth buffalo conference in Lahore, CM maintained that the talks were beauty of democracy and should continue. We want to strengthen democratic institutes and are ready to take every democratic step for this purpose, CM asserted. Earlier, the meeting with high hopes and expectations between Pakistans two largest parties (PPP and PML-N)s leadership ended without any breakthrough yesterday. Talking about the schools security CM observed that school administrations got millions of rupees for fees and would have to make arrangements for the kids security. We will take stern action against those schools that dont make foolproof security arrangements. The school administration will be responsible even if a kid is scratched, he added. Separately, Minister of State Nabeel Gabool talking to Dunya News termed the Zardari-Nawaz meeting as successful and pleasant. The meeting fulfilled peoples expectations and issues were resolved in it. One more meeting will be held soon to devise a strategy about 17th amendment and CoD, Gabool claimed.
