21 militants killed in operation Rah-e-Nijaat: DG ISPR

DG ISPR Athar Abbas said that at least 21 militants have killed in operation Rah-e-Nijaat during the last 24 hours while 3 security officials have been martyred and 8 others sustained injuries. During a combine press briefing with Federal Minister Qamar Zaman Kaira in Islamabad, DG ISPR said that security forces are advancing deep into Kotkai, Jandola and Sararoga. DG ISPR said that forces have full control of Kotkai area and militants are on the run. On the other hand, Federal Information Minister Qamar Zaman Kaira said that militants have failed to demoralize the nation and security forces have blocked the land routes of militants. He said that the nation will soon hear the news about total elimination of militants network. He said that people are fleeing the areas due to operation Rah-e-Nijaat but all available resources would be provided for their rehabilitation. He said that 2.5 billion rupees have been provided to FATA Secretariat. He condemned the terrorist incidents of Kamra and Peshawar and told that intelligence agencies have arrested many suspected persons in this regard.
