9th Muharram processions will be taken out today
The processions of 9th Muharram will be taken out across the country today.
The main procession of 9th Muharram in Islamabad will be taken out from G-6. The procession will pass through its traditional route and culminated at the G-6 Imam Bargah after Maghrib prayers.
In Karachi the main procession of 9th Muharram will be taken out from Nishtar Park. The procession culminate at Hussainia Iranian Imam Bargak, Kharadar after passing through Purani Numaish, MA Jinnah Road, Empress Market, Reagal Chowk, Light House and City Road.
Tight security arrangements have been made for the occasion. Large contingents of Rangers and police have been deployed outside Mosques and Imam Bargahs and other sensitive areas and the route of main procession has been sealed.
In Lahore, the main procession of 9th Muharram will be taken out from Nisar Havaily and after passing through its traditional route will culminate at the Karbala Game Shah before Maghrib prayers.
In Peshawar, the main procession will be taken out from Peshawar Saddar and will culminate at Imam Bargah Hussainia after passing through its traditional route.
The main procession of 9th Muharram in Multan will be taken out from Imam Bargah Mumtazabad and culminate at the same place after Maghrib prayers.
In Hyderabad, the main procession will be taken out from Latifabad No 10 and culminated at the same place after passing through its traditional route in the evening.
In Sahiwal, the main procession will be taken out from Imam Bargah Zainabia and culminate at the same place in the evening while the main procession of 9th Muharram in Bahawalpur will be taken out from Bariwala Chowk and culminate at Jamia Masjid Hussainia in the evening after passing through Ghala Mandi, Model Town, Lakar Mandi, Muhalla Aam-o-Khas, Machli Bazaar and Fateh Khan Bazar.
