Summary Sindh Home Ministry on Thursday notified a partial ban on using motorbikes till 10th Muharram.
The order would be effective from Friday at 12 am.
According to the notification, parking of bikes within the range of one kilometer from imambargahs has also been prohibited while the provincial government has also declared more than 15 areas across the city as sensitive during Ashura.
Howevver, journalists, patients, elderly people and security personnel would be exempted from the ban.
