Summary The emergency service in government hospitals of Balochistan remained closed for the third day.
The doctors’ strike against kidnapping of Dr Saeed Ahmad Khan continued on Wednesday.
The Baluchistan government issued show cause notices to more than 60 doctors. The patients and their relatives faced difficulties due to closure of emergencies in the hospitals.
Forty army doctors who were called in by the government have not joined the government hospitals so far.
According to the protesting doctors, they will continue protest till the acceptance of their demands.
