Aitzaz Ahsan said that the President has the right to decide over the matter of seniority of judges under the constitution, adding that the chief justice has also acknowledged presidential discretion in this regard.

In response to a question regarding the judicial commission inquiry, Aitzaz said that all the inquiry of commission will be considered as null and void over seniority matter, adding that judicial commission should comprise people who are constitutionally nominated.
