Summary Attorney General Irfan Qadir said notification of retired judges’ appointment will not be issued.
Talking to newsmen in the premises of Supreme Court on Wednesday, the Attorney General said that the recommendations of the parliamentary committee were also unconstitutional and no unconstitutional ruling of the court would be accepted.
Irfan said some newspapers published the unjust news story that the judges reprimanded him. He said that law and constitution do not allow judges to reprimand the Attorney General.
The Judicial Commission had recommended 6-month service extension of Justice Shaukat Aziz and Justice Noor-ul-Haq of Islamabad High Court but the President did not issue the notification.
