Lahore High Court (LHC) has disqualified the Member of Provincial Assembly (MPA) Rana Asif for holding dual nationality.

According to the report, the LHC Chief justice Umer Ata Bandial was hearing the petitions challenging Rana Asif s dual nationality on Friday.
The petitioner presented proof against the MPA of holding Canadian nationality. On which, Rana Asif could not provide any satisfactory argument.
Disqualifying the MPA, the court ordered to hold by-elections within 60 days in his constituency.
