Summary The moon of Moharram-ul-Haram has been sighted and first of Moharram would fall on November 16.
The meeting of Central Ruet-e-Hilal Committee was held at Karachi on Thursday under the headship of its chairman Mufti Muneeb-ur-Rehman who has announced that the moon of Moharram-ul Haram has been seen.
The Ashura-e-Moharram would be held on 25 November (Sunday). It would be pertinent to mention here that Moharram is first month of Islamic calendar.
