Balochistan Assembly Tuesday passed a unanimous resolution in favour of Chief Minister Nawab Raisani. All 45 members out of total 65 present in the session voted in favour of CM.
Nawab Raisani said it was historic session of the provincial assembly.
He said the MPs would remain united like a family whether he remains in the government of not.
Earlier PPP Balochistan in a meeting had declared that after the SC decsion the provinvial government had lost its validity.
The decision came in the wake of a deepening constitutional crisis in the province.
The council also confirmed that party membership of Aslam Raisani had been suspended.
It demanded of the governor to order election of the new leader of the House.
President PPP Balochistan Mir Sadiq Imrani chaired the meeting in which federal minister Ayatullaha Durrani also took part.
The meeting in a resolution urged the governor to summon the assembly session for the election of new leader of the House.
It said the provincial government had lost constitutional validity after the verdict of the Supreme Court and it had not ground to continue.
On the other hand acting Speaker Speaker Syed Mutiullah Agha on the requisition of the assembly members Tuesday convened the session of the provincial assembly.
Chief Minister Raisani and 45 provincial ministers attended the session.
The session expressed confidence in CM Nawab Raisani.
