Summary The Islamabad High Court Tuesday approved for hearing a petition on extension in COAS’s tenure.
The plea, filed by Col (retd) Inam-ur-Rehman on Monday, will be heard in third week of November by a two-member bench, sources said.
In his petition, the retired army officer has also appealed the court to take notice of Chief of the Army Staff’s recent statement, stating that General Kayani was not entitled to remain in office after making a political statement.
