Summary Two people were killed while 10 sustained injuries in a blast near FC check post on Airport Road.
According to police, the incident occurred when a FC vehicle was passing from a check post that unidentified terrorists hit the FC vehicle by a bomb exploded by remote control technique.
As a result, two people were killed while 10 got hurt. The blast caused damage to nearby vehicles standing in a park.
Window of nearby buildings also were broken in the blast.
Sources are of the view that number of casualties may go up with the passage of time because when severely injured who had been taken to hospital were confronted with uncertain situation.
