The US will help Waziristan affectees by every possible means, US Ambassador in Pakistan Anne W Patterson has said. Talking to media on the occasion of donating ambulances by the US aid in Islamabad, Patterson told that US institutions were already working for the victims of Waziristan. She assured that all the victims of operation would be given facilities like the Swat IDPs. US Ambassador excused when asked to answer a question about the Kerry-Lugar Bill. National Assembly Speaker Fazal Karim Kundi asserted that the operation against militants would be successful in Waziristan. The elimination of militants in Waziristan is difficult but not impossible, he added. Kundi clarified that operation wasnt against the tribes of Waziristan rather it was against terrorists. He informed that 20,000 families had shifted to Dera Ismail Khan and Tank from Waziristan while 50,000 more families were expected to come there.
