Talking to media on the occasion of donating ambulances by the US aid in Islamabad, Patterson told that US institutions were already working for the victims of Waziristan. National Assembly Speaker Fazal Karim Kundi asserted that the operation against militants would be successful in Waziristan. The elimination of militants in Waziristan is difficult but not impossible, he added. Kundi clarified that operation wasnt against the tribes of Waziristan rather it was against terrorists. He informed that 20,000 families had shifted to Dera Ismail Khan and Tank from Waziristan while 50,000 more families were expected to come there.
