Summary Sindh government has announced to impose Sec 144 from November 11 to 11 Moharram.
The decision has been taken while keeping in view the law and order situation in the province.On the other hand, pillion would also be banned in Karachi, Hyderabad and Khairpur from tonight on Friday.In this regard, a high level meeting chaired by Sindh CM Syed Qaim Ali Shah was held at CM House regarding law and order situation. Director General Rangers, Additional IG Sindh, Commissioner Karachi, information minister Sharjeel Memon and other officials also attended the meeting.It was decided in the meeting that section 144 would be imposed in Sindh from November 11 to 11 Moharram. The session also decided to install high-power scanners on all important entry points particularly on railway stations other coastal belts so that smuggling of arms and ammunition may be stopped to be used for terrorists.On the occasion, Sindh CM also said that destructive activities of criminal-minded elements should be discouraged for maintenance of law order in the province.The Chief Minister also announced Rs 2 million for heirs to the security men each who had fallen victims to barbarism of terrorists at the Rangers Headquarter.
