Supreme Court Tuesday rejected request of state PTV for disposing off the petition and summoned counsel for MQM at the next hearing.The petition had been filed by the MQM against the PTV for not providing appropriate time to political parties.A three-member bench of the apex court headed by Chief Justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry heard the case against PTV for not providing appropriate time to political parties.The SC issued notice to counsel of MQM for appearing before the court at the next hearing of the case.Counsel for PTV, Ali Raza argued that counsel of MQM has not appeared during two hearings of the court, MQM is not taking interest and hence case has to be disposed off now.Then the court issued notice to the counsel of MQM to appear before the court at the next hearing and then adjourned the hearing for two weeks.
