Summary Interior Ministry says disputed should be added with Kashmir in the report moved in Supreme Court.

The ministry has changed its stance after airing of news at Dunya News which disclosed negligence of the Interior Ministry.Secretary Siddique Akber said that Kashmir would be undoubtedly a disputed area before it is settled properly.Kashmiris liberation movements have expressed anger and irritation over wrong usage of Kashmir.While showing their resentment and anger over this criminal negligence committed by the interior ministry, different Kashmiri organizations have said that rulers have agonized the soul of Quaid e Azam by terming Kashmiris’ struggle for freedom as ‘revolt’.This is negative message that has been conveyed to Kashmiris of both sides of LoC, concluded spokespersons of liberation movements.Earlier, the Ministry of Interior in its report presented in the Supreme Court during Balochistan law and order case, named held Kashmir as Indias part.The report was presented by the federal interior secretary Khwaja Siddiq Akbar before a two-member bench headed by Chief Justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry.While giving reference of Balochistan like situation in other regions, the report stated that “We should take a leaf from Indian experience where in the state like Kashmir, East Punjab, Nagaland, Asam and Mizoram, armed insurgency and partial breakdown of government machinery took place for a number of years, still democracy and successive elections afforded the people and the government a good chance to overcome their difficulties and defeat the militants with political process.”
