Summary PML-Q secretary general Mushahid Hussain says Karachi issue is not administrative but political.
After attending the session of National Assembly’s standing committee for human rights, while talking to the media, he said that if he had been satisfied with the performance and progress of law enforcement institutions, he would not have come to Karachi at all.He said that it is regrettable to say that more than 8,000 were arrested with ammunition but none of them was prosecuted.He said that armed wings of political parties should come to an end for promotion of pure democratic culture.Afrasyab Khatak said that political parties should cooperate with the government law enforcement institutions for rule of law, restoration of peace and tranquility in the city. New law should be made against illegal weapons, advocated Khatak.Afrasyab Khatak suggested that inter-provincial operation is the dire need of hour for the end of terrorism.
