After SC interim order Speaker of Balochistan Assembly Aslam Bhootani has refused to preside over the session of provincial assembly, which is going to be held Friday.The Speaker told media that convening the Baluchistan Assembly would be contempt of court after the interim order by the Supreme Court in the case regarding law and order situation and increasing incidents of kidnapping for ransom in the province.The session of Balochistan assembly was summoned on the advice of Chief Minister Nawab Asalm Raisani.The Supreme Court in its interim order asserted that the provincial government had completely failed in preventing target killings, kidnappings for ransom and. human rights violations.Meanwhile, Balochistan Chief Minister Nawab Aslam Raisani has called Baloch parliamentarians in Islamabad on FridayAccording to report, the chief minister has convened a meeting of Baloch parliamentarians in Islamabad to discuss interim order of the apex court regarding law and order situation in Balochistan.Balochistan Chief Minister Nawab Aslam Raisani will appear before the Supreme Court on Friday along with coalition partners in the Balochistan law and order case.Addressing a news conference here on Thursday, he said that he would present his position on the case before the apex court.The chief minister also addressed reports regarding his suspension from the Pakistan Peoples Party. Raisani said his membership had not been suspended nor could anyone suspend it.On Thursday, PPP district Kalat President Rafiq Sajjad suspended the membership of Raisani for three months for damaging party polices.According to the Divisional President of PPP, the chief minister was not addressing issues faced by the party workers who had voted him into power nor was he spending enough time in Quetta.He also said that the PPP had weakened in the province due to Raisani’s actions and policies.
