'Avoid to misuse Asghar Khan Case in election campaign'

Such opportunistic tactics would benefit to no one, said JUI-F chairman Wednesday.“No political party should try to take political mileage out of decision in Asghar Khan Case. It will benefit to no one. PPP or any other party if thinks, verdict in Asghar Khan case will benefit it in forthcoming elections, they are mistaken”, he said this while talking to office bearers of JUI-F Islamabad chapter.He demanded that inquiry should be conducted in transparent manner into the matter who were distributors and who were recipients of money. This inquiry should not be assigned to any institution, which is working under the control of federal government, he stressed.He expressed concern that certain parties including ruling PPP was utilising the verdict for political gains and propaganda campaign was being launched against key political leaders in this respect.“Election Commission and Supreme Court should see this matter on their own and not to leave it to any other institution which is being controlled by the federal government.He went on to say politics of morality was not in vogue in the country nor the people cast votes on ethical grounds.Therefore, any attempt by the ruling party or any other party to take advantage of decision in Asghar Khan case will turn out to be non productive, he held.
