Summary Qamar Zaman Kaira Tuesday said caretaker setup will be placed after March 2013.
He underlined that achievements gained by the PPP government cannot be wasted by postponing the general elections.Talking to media‚ Information Minister said that after 18th of March next year the caretaker government would be in place in accordance with the constitutional procedures.He said achievements gained by the PPP government cannot be wasted by postponing the general elections.He said it goes to the credit of the present government to raise the Pakistan case at the each available forum.Kaira said the federal government has not taken any revenge against any one.He asked the world to recognize the sacrifices rendered by Pakistan in the war on terrorism.He also lauded the reconciliation policy of Shaheed Benazir Bhutto and said she signed Charter of Democracy with Nawaz Sharif to strengthen the democracy and bring prosperity to the country.The Minister said the mandate given to the PPP by the people in 1990 elections was stolen.Information Minister said investigations would be held in the Asghar Khan case as directed by the Supreme Court.
