The suspect who opened fire on Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) rally in Khairpur was allegedly killed in police encounter when he was trying to escape from Sukkur jail on Tuesday, Dunya News reported.According police, Azizullah was allegedly trying to escape from jail with the help of some armed suspects. Police shot the suspect dead on the spot while his associates fled from the scene.Azizullah was accused of carrying out gun attack at PPP’s rally led by MNA Nafeesa Shah, daughter of CM Sindh Qaim Ali Shah.The incident which took place on October 7, claimed at least seven lives and more than 10 people were wounded.The MNA had escaped the attack while local PPP leaders and a journalist fell prey to the attack.
