Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) workers attacked media correspondents during Defence of Democracy Conference at Aiwan-e-Iqbal Lahore as violent workers tortured several journalists and stopped them from coverage, Dunya News reported Monday.PML-N had organized Defence of Democracy Conference at Aiwan-e-Iqbal Lahore, when media men were entering the hall, policemen wearing civil dress and PML-N workers stopped them and started abusing. PML-N worker Amjad and other workers bashed three cameramen and several journalists. The senior leaders of PML-N including Khawaja Saad Rafiq, Zulfiqar Khosa, former president Rafiq Tarar and Advisor to Chief Minister Zakia Shahnawaz said they were unaware of the incident.
