FO leaves for US to convey Pakistans apprehensions on KL Bill

Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi is leaving for the US to talk about Pakistans apprehensions on the Kerry-Lugar Bill today, reported Dunya News. The FO will call on his counterpart Hillary Clinton and other US Officials and discuss the controversial clauses of the bill. The FO will also request the US President not to sign the bill of Pakistans non-military aid immediately. Sources revealed that President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Yousaf Raza Gilani in their recent meeting decided to send the FO on US visit on emergency basis. Sources further informed that the FO will stay in US more than two days.
