Summary The new prices will be effective from Monday.
The Ministry of Petroleum approved the recommended decrease in price of petroleum products and CNG.According to ministry of petroleum sources, a slash in prices of kerosene oil by Rs0.61, light diesel by Rs0.25, petrol by Rs2.32 and high speed diesel by Rs0.33 per litre has been approved.After midnight, petrol will be sold at Rs 101.8, high speed diesel Rs 113.29 and kerosene oil Rs 103.26.An approval has also been given for a cut in CNG prices. In region-I, the CNG prices have decreased by Rs 0.12 while Rs 1.94 in region-II.
