The Punjab Chief Minister’s son-in-law, Ali Imran, who was arrested in a torture case involving a bakery employee, was granted bail by a local court in Lahore on Friday, Dunya News reported.Earliery on Thursday, Ali Imran was sent to Camp Jail on a 14-day judicial remand.Imran surrendered before police on Wednesday and said he was ready to be included in investigation of the case.On Wednesday, seven Elite Force officials and a bodyguard, who were taken into custody by Defence B police, were also released on bail.It is to be mentioned here that the guards of CM Punjab’s daughter abducted and tortured a bakery employee in Lahore after he refused to act upon her request.Police took action some eight days after the incident allegedly took place in T-Block market of the Defence Housing Authority on Oct 7.
