Bakery torture: Shahbaz orders to interrogate his son-in-law

Summary Punjab CM has ordered to include his son-in-law in the interrogation of bakery worker torture case.

According to Dunya News, Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif said that rule of law is above any relation and any person whether he is a common citizen or a relative of any ruler.He said that as CM he holds himself accountable to the masses and he has ordered to interrogate his son-in-law in the bakery worker case.On the other hand, a local court in Lahore accepted the bail plea of eight accused and ordered to release them.The accused took the stance in the bail plea in the court of Judicial Magistrate Sikandar Javed that the allegation of torture on eight employees was wrong.After hearing the arguments, the court accepted the bail against Rs 40, 000 surety bonds.It is worth mentioning here that daughter of the Punjab CM had exchanged harsh words with an employee of a bakery in Defence area where she went to buy a cake but the bakery worker excused due as the shop had already been closed.Upon this, the officials deputed on the security of the chief minister’s daughter allegedly tortured the bakery worker.
