Attack on Malala: MQM to hold countrywide rallies

Prayers and candlelit vigil were arranged by Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) for the early recovery of Malala Yousufzai were held at the Jinnah Ground on Saturday.The members of MQM Coordination Committee and a large number of workers attended the gathering.Talking to the media on the occasion, MQM leader Dr Farooq Sattar said that rallies will be held today across the country today in protest against attack on Malala, the 14-year-old child activist, and two of her classmates Shazia and Kainat, who were fatally wounded in a gun attack by the Taliban in Mingora on October 9.
