PML-N has demanded the removal of the Chairperson of National Assembly Standing-Committee on law and justice Naseem Akhtar Chaudhary for her limited knowledge about certain technicalities.MNA Anosha Rehman speaking on a point of order criticised Federal Law Minister Farooq H. Naek for not representing the reports about the bill prepared by National Assembly’s standing-committee on legal affairs before the parliament.She said that the standing committee worked hard on the Accountability Bill for the last two and a half years but their hard work was put in a dustbin. While now the NA body is being run by an incompetent person and has become like second grader.She demanded the removal of the Chairperson NA’s standing-committee Naseem Akhtar Chaudhry for her limited knowledge about certain technicalities.Meanwhile, talking to reporters outside the parliament, leader of Pakistan Muslim League-N, Senator Mushahidullah remarked that the accountability bill is pending with the NA’s standing-committee for legal affairs, so presentation of a second bill in the parliament by the government is meaningless.On the occasion, Federal minister for religious affairs, Khursheed Shah said that the government had the will to table the Accountability Bill in the parliament but it was delayed due to misconduct of the opposition members.Farooq H. Naek and Colonel (Retd.) Tahir Mashhadi, talking to journalists, observed the passage of the Accountability Bill would do away with the corrupt practices.
