Summary Aitzaz Ahsan says Supreme Court should avoid taking suo motu notices over dual nationality.
“Dual nationality holders be given the right to vote.Scrutiny process should take place before representatives of election commission on the occasion of presentation of nomination papers before them.Election commission rather than SC should decide this matter as no appeal can be filed against SC decision and the right to appeal stands confiscated”, he said this while talking to media men outside parliament house on Tuesday.He went on to say problems had not emerged overnight in Balochistan and on the other hand they have a long tale behind them.Baloch tribal chiefs and Pakhtoon brothers are sitting in Balochistan assembly as powers have been devolved to provincial assemblies following the implementation of 18th constitutional amendment, he added.If FC is pulled out from Balochistan then the situation will further deteriorate and spiral out of control, he held.
