Summary The PM said that there was no threat to democracy and all the institution would work in their orbit.

Speaking in the Senate, Prime Minister Raja Pervaiz Ashraf said that parliament was the supreme decision making body and senate was its most important part.All important issues have been identified and the government is not unaware of any issue facing by the country, he said. He maintained that great leaders of Pakistan Peoples Party Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto and Benazir Bhutto sacrificed their lives to promote democracy in the country. He said due to their sacrifices there was a vibrant democracy in the country and the democratic institution were working at their full potential.He stated that it was due to the success of this system that a person like him (Pervaiz Ashraf) who belongs to middle class was the Prime Minister of the country.Raja said most serious issue facing the country today was terrorism and we were making utmost efforts to get rid of this menace.
